Assuming they had actually gone to bed, the high rollers in Las Vegas received a rude awakening this morning as the Tropicana Hotel – one of the icons of the famous Las Vegas Strip – came down in a controlled explosion.
In typical over-the-top Vegas fashion, the blast itself was preceded by a lengthy firework and drone show.
