It is a few weeks since we broke the regrettable news that the much-admired Redhead Demolitions had sought voluntary liquidation.
We have since heard from Janet Redhead who wanted to place on record the legacy and loss of this once revered company.
Janet says:
How unfortunate that such a great business run so extremely well by John Redhead for 50 years has gone into liquidation.
It all started with Bill Redhead who worked for Scudders in 1948.a name from the past in 1948.
John then started up the Company in 1972. Brother Bruce Redhead was the site supervisor and they had several large contracts in London and the Home Counties over the years.
After the passing of John and Bruce the company was sold to Ross Redhead who ran the company for less than 4 years. But sadly it is no more.
