Rye Group has taken delivery of three new Caterpillar excavators that will run on HVO fuel to support the company’s Sustainable Standard initiative.
The Green D+ HVO fuel supplied by New Era Fuels is made from used cooking oil that has been supplemented with an organic additive.
HVO reduces carbon emissions by 90 percent and NOx emissions.
