Contractor set to land massive Ellesmere Port contract.
DemolitionNews can exclusively reveal that KDC Contractors is set to be named as the winning bidder on a major demolition contract at Ellesmere Port.
It is understood that the Manchester-based company has received a letter of intent from client Innospec and is expecting to receive the final order within a matter of days. The contract, which is thought to be valued at around £1.0 million, involved the demolition of the four-storey TEL 1 building, part of the massive agrochemicals facility.
The prestigious contract will be welcomed by KDC Contractors which was acquired by waste management giant Veolia in June 2018.
The news comes hot on the heels of the announcement that Bilfinger UK has secured a two-year extension on its maintenance and engineering services deal with global chemicals manufacturer Innospec at the Ellesmere Port plant.
