Total Reclaims and CMEC clinch merger, 2020-style
The coming together of a pair of Nottingham-based demolition contractors was one of the biggest industry stories of the past year. And the two companies have clinched the deal in the most 2020 way imaginable.
Total Reclaims’ Melvyn Cross and Antony Hopkinson of CMEC came together for a socially-distanced photo shoot that seals the two company’s landmark deal.
And the location of the photo shoot is almost as telling as the merger itself. In the background of the photo is a major new BBC facility and a new hotel, both of which point to the burgeoning Nottingham constructions sector. The newly-merged company will be looking to stake its claim in that market in 2021.
