Tomorrow marks a landmark for a global equipment giant, and for the construction equipment sector in general. 23 October 2020 is the official 75th birthday of JCB.
The company’s own celebrations have been curtailed somewhat by the COVID-19 pandemic. But the team over at Diggers and Dozers was unwilling to allow such a momentous occasion to pass unmarked.
And so, the video brains at Diggers and Dozers have produced a feature-length documentary that charts the rise and rise of this great British institution: from a tipping trailer made from recycled metal; to a global entity with a manufacturing presence across the world.
Diggers and Dozers was granted access to JCBs extensive video archives. And the new film – JCB A British Empire – features never-seen-before footage of the company and its products through the ages.
That film will air LIVE at 7pm on Friday 23 October in a simultaneous broadcast on both YouTube and Facebook.
