Pasadena State Bank building imploded.
Pasadena’s first, and only, skyscraper was demolished just after sunrise Sunday morning. The historic tower was built in 1962 but has remained vacant since 2002. After nearly 20 years of neglect, the tower was condemned as a safety hazard to the community.
