Controlled blast fells 20 storey German tower block.
A 20-storey building known locally as the “White Giant” was demolished in Duisburg’s Hochheide on yesterday.
At 12:00 local time, around 290 kilograms of explosives were used to blast the block of flats into a pile of rubble.
