Birmingham-based contractor calls in the administrators.
Liston Group, the Birmingham-based demolition, asbestos and civil engineering contractor, has called in the administrators following what the company describes as a “terrible year” in 2018.
Although no official statement has yet been made, DemolitionNews understands that a mix of contract delays and subsequently poor cash-flow contributed to the demise of a company that only achieved National Federation of Demolition Contractors’ membership late last year.
It is understood that the company remains committed to seeing through its current contractual commitments with the support of the self-appointed administrator.
It is a sad end for a respected company that counted high-profile projects such as the Kettleworks and the Park Regis Hotel in Birmingham among its recent accomplishments.
