Wessex Demolition machine in limbo as dealer calls in receivers.
Promac Solutions, the Berkshire based Doosan Bobcat dealer, has slipped into administration.
The company, which also represents the Terex and Montabert brands, appointed Mazars as official receiver on Friday last week.
DemolitionNews was alerted to issues at the company via social media after Wessex Demolition visited Promac’s Aldermaston facility to collect a new Doosan excavator but was refused admission. That machine – valued at almost £200,000 and pictured below – remains in the company’s yard amidst a dispute between both parties. According to managing director Richard Grant, the new machine was destined for a contract with a new Wessex Demolition customer and the contractor has been forced to take a machine from another contract while the dispute is resolved.
DemolitionNews editor Mark Anthony – who was reporting live from the company’s facility – reports that more machines are currently under lock and key including at least one excavator bearing the Rye Demolition name.
