Demolition video sparks safety concerns as block narrowly misses excavator.
Dramatic video from a Tennessee demolition project has state regulators investigating the safety of workers at the site.
That video captured what witnesses thought was a potentially dangerous mishap as a building was “tripped”.
It occurred in the shadow of Saint Thomas West Hospital near Belle Meade where workers were bringing down a once-futuristic, 11-story apartment building.
Local people watched as workers took out key support beams, causing parts of the building to crumble into a cloud of dust and debris and narrowly missing an excavator.
