Brandenburg removes last vestiges of J.E. Corette plant.
The J.E. Corette coal-fired power plant in Billings, Montana is fast disappearing. And as these two new films (the first featuring a welcome smidgen of Tom Petty) from demolition giant Brandenburg show, some of the largest parts of the facility are now on the ground:
PPL Montana mothballed Corette last April because the 47-year-old plant didn’t meet mercury pollution standards.
