Booze-hounds should look away now.
Aside from the demolition of my beloved Upton Park, there are just some buildings that should be beyond the reach of the demolition crews. And, despite having taken a vow of sobriety some years ago myself, I still firmly believe that breweries (and distilleries, for that matter) should be sacred.
However, the former Kaier Brewery in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania IS coming down. And, despite our reservations, it does make for some great video footage, particularly if you fast=forward to the 1:30 mark:
Can’t help thinking they could have used a larger high reach though.
