For anyone that attended the Ideal Home Exhibition, the London Boat Show, Crufts Dog Show (before it relocated) and for generations of concert-goers (I saw the late, great George Michael there as recently as 2012), Earl’s Court exhibition centre was the go-to destination. But amidst lengthy and vocal protests from local residents, the exhibition centre is no more.
