John F Hunt announces passing of deputy MD.
Essex-based contractor John F Hunt has announced the sad passing of deputy managing director Dave Smith.
A statement on the company’s website reads:
It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the passing of Dave Smith, Deputy Managing Director of John F Hunt Demolition. He passed away on the evening of the 6th February, having suffered a fatal heart attack whilst playing football.
Dave joined John F Hunt Demolition in 2014, already a well respected figure in construction and demolition, having over 30 years’ experience in the industry.
As a keen athlete, who enjoyed many types of sport and general health and fitness, his passing has come as a total shock, we will miss him enormously as he was a valued member of our team and a good friend.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to his wife, family and friends, please be assured our thoughts are with you.
