High reach excavator sees off Grosvenor Hotel.
In 1966, when much of the nation was focused upon the late, great Bobby Moore holding aloft the Jules Rimet trophy, a new hotel was opening in Sheffield in the north of England.
Sadly, Bobby Moore is no longer with us, and the England football team has been in pretty much terminal decline ever since. And while that new hotel fared rather better than the England team and the catalogue of managers and players that have come and gone in the past 50 years, that hotel is now also out of time.
DSM is taking down the Grosvenor Hotel using a high reach excavator, as this amateur video shows:
