Nick Williamson and his daughter target cross-Continent cycle ride.
Most people spend their well-earned holiday allowance on a week in the sun, relaxing by a pool, cocktail in hand. Nick Williamson of Maylarch is not most people.
In November, Williamson and his 16-year old daughter Eve will be embarking on a 500 km bike ride across the hot, dusty and somewhat deserted roads and paths in Africa to help raise money for Child.org
Their journey starts in Cape Coast and they then have six days of cycling to cover the 500 km around the coast of Ghana to the finish line at Hohoe. Williamson completed a similar challenge a few years ago with one of his other daughters; but this epic journey is going to be an eye-opening and challenging trip for Eve who is undertaking a mammoth challenge for the first time.
Every penny will help Nick and Eve pedal a little bit further and a little bit faster in the knowledge that the money donated will help Child.org to carry on performing the great work they do in helping children across the world.
