For several years, New Zealand – or, more specifically, Christchurch – was demolition central. As the city tore down hundreds of buildings damaged and felled by the earthquake that ripped through the area in February 2011 killing 185 people, New Zealanders developed a major fascination with the demolition process.
And now that fascination is about to get its own show. With a working title of “The Demolition Team”, the series looks to get behind the scenes of the deconstruction process. And, as you can see from the trailer below, it contains some really great footage. We sincerely hope the show is sold to overseas territories so we can all get to enjoy the action:
