Thrill-seeking YouTubers gain access to gas holder due for demolition.
Regular readers will know that – just a few weeks ago – we warned of the dangers of thrill-seeking youngsters armed with video cameras that were trespassing on construction sites in order to gain notoriety on YouTube. At the time, we warned that it wouldn’t be long until the demolition sector fell victim to this worrying trend.
Well we didn’t have to wait long until our prediction came true. As you will see from the video below, a group of three YouTubers gained access to a gas holder that is awaiting demolition, putting themselves at enormous risk in the process.
The name of the UK demolition contractor is visible – briefly – at one point but we will not name them here. As far as we can tell, the site was secured and boarded-up so they are not at fault.
We can only hope that a company launches a successful and costly prosecution of one of these thrill-seekers to act as a deterrent before one of these idiots kills themselves.
