JDC Demolition pulls last building at Salem Harbor Power Plant.
There are few things that gladden our hearts (and eyes) more than a new demolition video from our buddy Stephen SetteDucati. And this one is no exception.
SetteDucati, one of our favourite demolition videographers, captured the final stages of JDC Demolition’s work at the Salem Harbor Power Plant.
JDC Demolition spent the better part of two months time structurally weakening and separating the structure, removing key support cross-bracing and columns. Heavy shackled cables were attached to support column plugs that were pulled initially while upper shackled cables pulled the the coal hopper northward by two excavators and the adjacent piping gallery eastward by a loader and an excavator.
