West Ham Power Station demolished.
Under normal circumstances, the words “West Ham” and “demolition” in a single sentence would leave me cold, distraught and despairing.
But, thanks to Clarke Demolition Company’s Steve Bocking, we have uncovered a video containing both those expressions but which has nothing whatsoever to do with the world’s finest football club.
This local news film dates back to 1983 when the former West Ham Power Station at Canning Town was demolished. You can read the history of the power station and its subsequent demise here.
