Inclement weather delays first of two implosions.
The demolition of the old Boone Bridge in Missouri will not happen today as planned.
Inclement weather over the weekend has prompted MoDOT to delay the demolition until Thursday morning.
Both directions of I-64 will close between Boone’s Crossing and Route K starting at 9:45 a.m. and will remain closed for approximately an hour.
This will be the first of two blasts to demolish the old bridge. The second date has not yet been announced.
