Essex-based contractor is closing its doors.
DemolitionNews understands that Chelmsford-based demolition contractor Micor Limited is ceasing to trade just short of its 30th anniversary. An administrator has been appointed.
Established in 1986 by Michael Corridan, Micor Demolition had built up an impressive and extensive portfolio of clients. The company, a member of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors, won a World Demolition Award in 2013 and was shortlisted again in both 2014 and 2015.
DemolitionNews further understands that Corridan’s health has been impacted significantly by the demise of the company he built from scratch.
Although not a huge company, Micor Limited was widely respected among its peers for its ability to tackle challenging and complex demolition works. Indeed, the company was featured in the latest edition of the Demolition magazine for precisely this kind of work.
