Explosive end for East German power station.
Dutch demolition experts from DDM Demontage BV have carried out the explosive demolition of the Explosion of the Bunkerschwerbau” and the machine house of the old Hagenwerder power station.
Commissioned by Vattenfall, the demolition stats are:
- Bunkerschwerbau: 12 x 187 x 55 metres, content 123.420m³
- Machine house: 43 x 211 x 30 metres, content 272.190m³
- Total content 395.610m³ with about 55,000 tons of concrete
