They got the “go boom” but they forgot the “baby fall down”.
According to a UK newspaper not generally known for the accuracy or reliability of its news coverage, the Austrian army suffered an embarrassing stand-up yesterday.
The Austrian army had organised a staggering 1,760 individual explosions using 666 kg of explosives to bring the building down.
But managers were left embarrassed when the explosives failed to do the job properly and the building remained intact.
