Implosion shocks neighbours and dumps debris into Biscayne Bay.
Back on Monday we brought you exclusive footage of the implosion of the Electra on the Bay building in the appropriately-named Edgewater area of Miami. In the initial aftermath of that video, we received a few emails questioning the sheer force of the blast. And it seems that DemolitionNews readers were not the only ones taken aback by the blast.
According to local news reports, residents were shocked at the blast because – they claim – they were not adequately warned. In addition, an alternative view of the blast shows debris landing in the environmentally Biscayne Bay upon which the building stood.
