Over the past 18 moths or so, we have taken to keeping a watching brief on the guys at Liberty Industrial. Not only do their demolition videos feature a lot of the sunshine that is missing from UK skies but they also do some really interesting and professional work.
And they have come up trumps again.
As part of the HIsmelt Closure project, various structures including the Off-Gas Hood were collapsed using controlled cut and pull demolition techniques whereby engineered pre-cutting and inertia is utilised to bring taller structures to ground level for processing.
