As the UK braces for a major blasts on 26 September – one at Cockenzie power station and another at Didcot power station – the industry is focused on another at tomorrow Tarfside Oval in Scotland. Meanwhile, news of yet another blast date has been released stateside.
The much-anticipated implosion of the former Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital main building has been set for 7 am on Saturday 3 October, officials from TM Montante Development have confirmed.
Closed since the opening of the Gates Vascular Institute on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus three years ago, the hospital is being imploded to make way for a $150 million multi-phased development on the 6.7-acre site where Delaware Avenue intersects with historic Gates Circle.
