Grangemouth rocked by chemical works controlled blast.
Demolition crews have carried out the controlled implosion of a large structure at Ineos’ facility at Grangemouth in Scotland.
The work is part of an ongoing project at the site to remove redundant equipment to clear space for new office accommodation and a business headquarters.
An Ineos spokesman said: “Safety will always be our number one priority. This piece of demolition work has been carefully and meticulously planned and assessed.
“It took place on a part of the site that is now a demolition plot where there has been no manufacture of chemicals for many years.”
