They think it’s all Dover; it is now.
DDS Demolition has secured the contract to demolish the Burlington House complex as part of a long awaited £60 million redevelopment in Dover.
The works, which will lead to the creation of new leisure and retail facilities, are due to start on the 6th July 2015, with some on site mobilisation occurring prior to this.
“Our clients had a very difficult task on their hands” said Jay Preece, Operations Manager, who spear-headed the tender bid “The scheme had attracted a lot of interest within the industry, and the complexities presented as a result of the location and the nature of the buildings meant that the contractor assessment process had to be robust and accurate in it’s findings. We’re pleased that our proposals, which demonstrated our ability to deliver the project, were successful”.
Developer, Bond City, said that they were delighted to be working with DDS Demolition on the scheme, and that we were selected in no small part as a result of our successful track record in carrying out the demolition of tower blocks and multi-storey car parks.
