It all comes down to this…

DSM on final countdown for Sunday blast.

On Sunday 15 March, resdidents of Northampton will say goodbye to Greyfriars bus station one last time ahead of the infamous building being demolished.

Demolition company DSM has been working for the last few months to prepare the building for demolition and will use more than 2,000 explosive charges to implode Greyfriars.

DSM can’t confirm the exact time of the demolition, although a five minute warning siren followed by a one minute warning siren will be heard.

Local newspaper – The Northampton Chronicle – is planning to broadcast the blast live via a web cam which is live and ready to view now.

We wish the crew at DSM and the residents of Northampton a safe and successful blast.

Please check back on Sunday as we aim to bring you the footage first.
