Video captures latest Chinese near miss.
A dramatic video has emerged from China of an excavator operator narrowly missing being crushed during a building demolition.
In the footage, captured in Chongqing, China, the operator can be seen using a hydraulic hammer to break down the lower half of a five-storey building.
Rather than collapsing forward, however, the building collapses sideways, almost burying the vehicle. According to local news reports, no one was injured in the demolition.
