DemolitionNews is shutting up shop for the festivities.
Well it’s been a year of momentous highs (almost 300,000 views) and staggering lows (check out our compilation of the Top 10 most-read stories of the past 12 months) but 2014 is drawing to a close.
Demolition News Towers will be closed for the festivities – although don’t be too surprised if the odd news story hits the airwaves while the Queen’s Speech is on – but we wanted to leave you with this festive message:
To all those that have read DemolitionNews this past year; commented on an article; shared a story with a friend or colleague; emailed us to agree or disagree with our stance on an industry issue; called us with a story lead; sent us a photo or video; or clicked the Like button on our Facebook page, we would just like to say a HUGE, personal and heartfelt thank you.
For all the strides we have made in the creation of the Demolition magazine, the generation of unique and exclusive video content, and the daily updating of Demolition News, there would be no point to any of it if there wasn’t an audience. We don’t just have an audience; we have the industry’s biggest, most dedicated and most vociferous global community. And that community, which is still growing month-on-month, recognises no geographic boundaries (readers in over 126 countries) nor trade association affiliations (come one, come all we say).
We have big plans for 2015 (and beyond) starting with a from-the-ground-up redesign of our weekly email newsletter; and we sincerely hope that you will come along for the ride.
In the meantime, everyone here at Demolition News Towers wishes you, your family, friends and colleagues a VERY Merry Christmas and a safe, prosperous and profitable New Year.
