A large portion of a Toldeo hotel came crashing to the ground this past week, with a little help from a pair of excavators and some sturdy cables.
The partially demolished hotel – standing in splendid isolation on a reclaimed lot – was felled, 12 storeys of pre-weakened and stripped structure plummeting gragefully to the ground.
