Dykon makes final checks ahead of Friday stack implosion.
Tomorrow morning (local time), an implosion of a remaining smokestack at Toledo’s marina district will bring it down to 100 feet.
It’s the final part of a project that brought two other smokestacks completely down in July.
The three smokestacks were part of the former Toledo Edison steam plant.
The journey to bring down the columns down started in 1997 when Toledo Edison offered the property to the city of Toledo.
