Dykon takes out Tradinghouse Power Plant in controlled blast.
The remaining section of the Tradinghouse Power Plant in eastern McClennan County came crashing down with an epic implosion Friday morning.
The plant’s owner, Luminant, plans to recycle roughly 95 percent of the materials, including steel, copper and parts and pieces of large equipment that had been broken down. The other section of the plant was imploded in March.
