There was a time when the Hillhead exhibition was for quarry equipment purists only with little or nothing to see for demolition types aside from some large lumps of metal, the likes of which they would never get to use.
But as the quarry sector has embraced secondary aggregates and as demolition has evolved to become a key provider of them, the Buxton show has taken on a slightly more demolition-friendly air, as the first-ever edition of Diggers and Dozers; new Hillhead Highlights show proves.
