Collapse hits Bedford Town Hall previously damaged in fire.
A workman has been injured after the collapse of part of the former town hall in Bedford.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the 1960s office block in Horne Lane at about 14:30 BST.
The emergency services helped rescue a man, in his 40s, who was trapped on the third storey of the building.
The man was checked over by paramedics and sustained scrapes and bruises, an ambulance spokesman said. He was taken to Bedford Hospital.
The building, which was damaged in a fire in February, is in the process of being demolished. DemolitionNews understands that the unnamed worker is employed by demolition contractor, Davis & Samson.
