Domino effect fells remaining sections of Alabama bank.
Demolition this weekend was mostly completed on the Wells Fargo building at 10th Street and Quintard Avenue, where the bank building had stood since 1973, when it opened as Anniston’s First National Bank. After a series of bank mergers, the bank became Wells Fargo in 2008.
The company plans to erect a smaller branch nearby.
