Teesside University building bows to Buckler pressure.
A Teesside University building has bitten the dust.
The two-storey Minerva Building on Stephenson Street in central Middlesbrough, has been flattened by Middlesbrough firm A Buckler Demolition.
It is working on behalf of the university, which wants to extend by 13 spaces its existing 119-space Quadrangle car park – the main staff and visitors’ car park on the campus.
Two university-owned paths are being realigned as part of the changes.
Middlesbrough Council’s planning department is yet to determine if the car park extension can go ahead.
