Dolan Demolition system puts new spin on chimney demolition.
Whenever we use the term “chimney demolition” here on DemolitionNews, the phrase is usually followed by photos or video of a stack being toppled by explosives or by cable.
But we just stumbled across a video from Dolan Demolition that shows an interesting “third way” that is oddly reminiscent of the Top Down Way system developed by Despe in Italy for the top down demolition of tower blocks.
The Dolan system is suspended from a crane, providing a work platform for workers to demolish the stack in a controlled, top down manner.
