Hooligans cause thousands of pounds in damage.
The boss of a Bradford demolition firm has spoken of his anger after yobs caused thousands of pounds worth of damage during two wrecking sprees at his yard.
Neil Sagar, owner of City Demolition, visited the Manningham site on Sunday in preparation for returning to work at the start of the year to find it had been trashed, with tools stolen and graffiti scrawled over a forklift truck, which the vandals had tried to steal.
And yesterday, when he arranged to meet police at the Queens Road yard, he discovered that vandals had done more damage overnight by smashing the windows of transit vans and a track car.
Sagar said he was still counting up the cost of the damage, which is expected to run into thousands of pounds, and he would not be able to run his business until a clean-up operation had been carried out.
“It was a complete shock and I can’t believe they’ve been back and done it again since.”
