2013 will be remembered for many things: the deaths of Nelson Mandela and Baroness Thatcher; the destruction wrought by Typhoon Haiyan; the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI; and the advent of twerking. But it was also the year that DemolitionNews.com came of age.
Some five years since it opened its online doors, the website and its iOS app have become the industry’s go-to destination for the latest and most independent news; our weekly email newsletter has become required reading for industry professionals in more than 90 countries around the world; and our YouTube video channel has gone from strength to strength since our tie-up with the guys at Diggers and Dozers. And, of course, 2013 was the year that gave birth to the industry’s ONLY indepenent demolition magazine.
But we are ever mindful of the fact that none of the above would have been possible without the input, support and loyalty of our readers; readers who email to tell us they like what we wrote (and where we went wrong); readers that interact with us on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube; readers who are a constant source of information and inspiration.
So, as 2013 rolls into 2014, we just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you.
