Murder charge follows collapse that killed six people.
A third-degree murder charge has been filed in connection with the building collapse last year in Center City Philadelphia that left six people dead.
Griffin Campbell was indicted on the charge by a grand jury and was expected to surrender this afternoon.
Campbell and his company, Campbell Construction, was the prime contractor. He was previously fined $313,000 for numerous violations.
Subcontractor Kary Roberts – also known as Sean Benschop – was previously charged with six counts of involuntary manslaughter for allegedly operating heavy equipment while high on marijuana and painkillers.
