If you’re not going to bother with a risk assessment, you’d better be fast on your feet.
In an ideal world, each demolition task would be preceded by a thorough risk assessment during which the safety of that task would be analysed and the numerous “what if” scenarios considered.
Then, the workers involved in that task would be thoroughly briefed and equipped with the requisite personal protective equipment before setting to work.
Or there’s this alternative in which you dispense with all those formalities, hit it with a large sledgehammer and then run away when the inevitable happens.
