World leading military electronics company Atlas Elektroniks required the first floor to be removed at its UK headquarters. But this was made more challenging by the need to minimise noise and vibration and to keep the adjacent floor live and working throughout.
Enter diamond drilling, sawing and demolition robot specialist Castle & Pryor with one of the newest additions to its fleet – an Avant Robot.
Castle & Pryor reports that using this method significantly reduced the environmental impact, the machine’s electrical power source eliminating potential diesel fumes. The use of a concrete pulveriser attachment also helped control vibration levels.
