Demolition contract seemingly sets out to break ALL the rules.
We know that health and safety rules and regulations differ around the world; and we know that demolition companies have their own unique way of doing things according to tradition, local custom and received wisdom.
Yet even taking all of that into account, what you’re about to see will roast the proverbial parsnips of any right-minded demolition contractor that has ever been vilified by his local health and safety enforcement officer for incomplete paperwork. We have no idea when this was show or where – although the clothing suggests the Middle East – but it is almost as if the contractor involved is part of some “let’s see how many regulations we can transgress in a single minute” competition.
The only person to come out of this well was a market trader – just down the road and unseen by the cameras – who did a roaring trade in t-shirts emblazoned with “exclusion zones are for wimps” and “real men dig dust” slogans.
