What follows has little or nothing to do with demolition. But we think you’ll agree it was well worth sharing.
Imagine you’re the mighty Volvo. And imagine that you have just developed a super-sensitive steering system for your on-highway trucks. How would you go about displaying that to the world?
Well, someone decided that the best way was to put one of these new trucks into a quarry in Spain, and to let a hamster steer it as the vehicle climbed the mountainous haul road.
And while the result is precarious, I can’t help thinking that the hamster – guided only by a brave human holding a carrot – is actually a better driver than many “qualified” truck drivers currently plying their trade on UK roads:
