Equipment giant signs licensing deal for eco-friendly welfare units.
JCB has announced its entry into the site welfare market with the launch of a new generation of eco-friendly mobile units for the construction industry.
The British engineering giant has signed an agreement which will see the UK’s leading designer of site welfare solutions, Garic, manufacture the units under licence for the world-renowned JCB brand
The JCB Eco Welfare Unit is primarily powered by solar panels, supported by a bespoke 12v super-silent back-up generator, making it the most environmentally-friendly product on the market. It will reduce C02 emissions by as much as 80 per cent and deliver fuel cost savings of up to £150 per week.
The unit is the highest value product to bear the JCB name under licence and is available for sale or to hire through JCB’s UK dealership network and directly from Garic.
