With the repercussions and recriminations still in full effect after the botched power plant blast that left one man undergoing surgery in California, the world was watching the Cutler Power Plant at Palmetto Bay in Miami this morning as Dykon Explosives took on the task of felling a pair of 150 foot high smokestacks.
It is likely that the company looked ever more closely at its own safety controls in light of the Bakersfield tragedy. But the early morning Dykon blast went according to plan with the minimum of fuss.
